Бухгалтерский учет, налоговые декларации и услуги по составлению финансовой отчетности в Грузии
We offer services in accounting, financial reporting, and tax control.
Tbilisi, Georgia-based accounting and consulting firm TPsolution LLC strives to maintain the highest level of service. That’s why we always go out of our way to help our clients; we dedicate ourselves entirely to each project.
For example, many accounting firms in Georgia provide accounting services without tax control, meaning that only accountants perform work for clients, which we believe is inefficient.
Accountants are highly valued specialists, but they don’t need to have in-depth knowledge of Georgian tax legislation. Their primary responsibility is to accurately record transactions in accounting books and file tax returns. However, to accurately file tax returns, it’s important to know which transactions are subject to taxation, at what rate, any tax risks, and so on. Therefore, an accountant’s work is most effective when they work in tandem with a tax expert.
Furthermore, business transactions require proper documentation. For example, appropriate contracts must be concluded with clients and/or suppliers. Contracts must comply with current Georgian legislation and be drafted in a manner that avoids significant tax risks.
Tax experts therefore play a key role in providing accounting services: They advise accountants on applicable taxes for client transactions, review contracts for tax purposes, and verify tax returns before filing. All of this is done to ensure the accountant’s work is completed without errors.
Based on the above, we believe that the highest quality of accounting services can only be achieved through the joint efforts of both an accountant and a tax expert.
We provide combined reporting, accounting, and tax consulting services in Georgia.
Our firm provides a combination of bookkeeping/accounting services with tax consulting and monitoring. Our accounting services include:
Accounting:
Our accountants record client transactions in accounting books (debits and credits). For accounting, we use either Excel files (for small clients) or accounting software.
Completing monthly and annual tax returns:
Our accountants prepare tax returns for clients under the supervision of our tax experts, who review the reports before filing and provide ongoing tax advice. Accountants perform their work; our tax experts then support the accountants in ensuring compliance.
Submission of monthly and annual tax returns
Once your financial statements and transactions have been reviewed by our tax experts, accountants can file your tax returns with greater confidence before the due date.
In addition, our experienced accountants or IFRS experts (depending on the complexity of the case) are responsible for the preparation and submission of annual financial reports.
Annual Financial Reporting Obligations in Georgia
In addition to accounting and tax reporting, Georgian companies are required to prepare and submit annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards.
The deadline for submitting financial statements is no later than October 1 of the month following the reporting month. Failure to comply with this obligation will result in penalties being imposed on the company.
Our accounting service package also includes the preparation and submission of annual financial statements.
Tax reporting periods in Georgia
Tax reporting periods in Georgia are either monthly or annual.
Typically, when the tax reporting period is monthly, the deadline for filing tax returns and paying taxes is the 15th of the month following the reporting period. With the exception of withholding tax returns, tax payments must be made on the same day the Georgian business pays salaries, dividends, interest, or service fees, while withholding tax returns for such payments must be submitted later (by the 15th of the following month).
The deadline for filing annual tax returns in Georgia is usually April 1 of the year following the reporting year (except for personal property tax).
